It’s football season, so watch these five Simpsons episodes

Football fans will love watching these Simpsons episodes!

Football season is upon us, so Simpsons fans it’s time to watch some football-related episodes! So let’s start:

1. Lisa the Greek (Season 3, Episode 14)

In Lisa the Greek, Lisa, and Homer bond over watching football together after Homer finds out that she’s good at picking the winning teams. Their relationship goes south when after the Super Bowl, she finds out that her dad isn’t exactly interested in hanging out.

2.  Bart Star (Season 9, Episode 6)

Homer takes over the peewee football team and makes Bart the quarterback, though one problem he stinks at it. Joe Namath guest starred in Bart Star. 

3. Sunday, Cruddy Sunday (Season 10, Episode 12)

In Sunday, Cruddy Sunday travel agent Wally Kogen invites Homer and Homer’s friends to the Super Bowl. Though they both don’t know that the tickets are fakes, so it’s up to Wally and Homer to get everyone into the game. Special guests in this episode included Fred Willard, Troy Aikman, John Madden, Dolly Parton, Dan Marino, and Pat Summerall.

4. Homer’s and Ned’s Hail Mary Pass (Season 16, Episode 8) 

After Homer’s video of him gloating goes viral, athletes are asking him for help to be better at show-offing and dancing.  Homer’s success at it gets him to choreograph the Super Bowl halftime show. Guest stars in Homer’s and Ned’s Hail Mary Pass included Tom Brady, Warren Sapp, Michelle Kwan, Yao Ming, and LeBron James.

5. Million-Dollar Abie (Season 17, Episode 16)

Grampa Simpson ruins Springfield’s chance of having a pro football team. The football stadium is then turned into an area for bullfighting and to gain their respect back, Grandpa Simpson decides to be a matador. MIllion-Dollar Abie is probably the weakest on the list, but nevertheless, it’s interesting.

Other episodes that include a little football (and tailgating) are Faith Off, A Star Is Burns, Homer Loves Flanders, and Any Give Sundance.
