Bob's Burgers drops its newest EP with Hollywood Records
Music is such a huge part of Bob's Burgers and that statement couldn't be more true when looking at the season 15 episode, "Hope N' Mic Night."
Serving as the 6th episode of season 15, we recently recapped and reviewed it. However, Hollywood Records is taking it one step further and giving us even more reason to put in some headphones and jam out.
In the episode, we follow the Belchers as they host an open mic night and to commemorate that, Hollywood Records dropped an EP. Entitled Open Mic Night at Bob's Burgers, the EP features 3 different tracks which are as follows: "Hold on Loosely," "Seabird" and "Draw a Face on Your Butt."
If you watched the episode, you know just how fun all of the songs were and why this release feels like a balm to the soul. With so much going on in the world, it's nice to kick back and enjoy some delightful music from the Bob's Burgers team.
Open Mic Night at Bob's Burgers is much more than an EP
I feel like I've already said this 100 times already, but if you haven't watched this episode yet, you're truly missing out. "Hold on Loosely" is performed by Teddy with Mort accompanining him which is just so classic Bob's Burgers. Then the second song is "Seabird" which is performed by Marshmallow and this was truly a great episode for Marshmallow and her legions of fans.
Additionally, it marked Jari Jones' take on Marshmallow. Jones was hired after fans were calling for more accurate portrayals of animated characters. Thankfully, the team took it seriously and hired Jones. This episode truly felt like her coming out in and I just adored the way the show treated Marshmallow in this episode.
Last but not least, the final track is performed by the Belcher siblings and Linda even jumps in at one point. Called "Draw a Face on Your Butt," this is an homage to Jimmy Junior's butt from the eyes of Tina and trust me, she's looking. Overall, this EP hits all the notes of something touching with Marshmallow's song to funny with the kids and Teddy.
Regardless, this release was too good not to share. You can stream Open Mic Night at Bob's Burgers on your favorite music streaming platform. The latest Bob's Burgers episode, "Hope N' Mic Night" is now streaming on Hulu.
Bob's Burgers airs on Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
