Music is a huge part of the fabric of Bob's Burgers. From Linda's singing to Boyz 4 Now to the songs the Belchers sing together, the show wouldn't be the same without it.

The same can be said about the Bob's Burgers Movie as well. The movie had some great sequences, visually and musically. That's why I'm so excited to watch "Hope N' Mic Night," as the photos got me excited about what's to come.

Whether you're a fan of the show's musical episodes or not, there is no denying there's a special magic touch on those episodes. Coupled with the fact that this episode was written by Loren Bouchard, it feels even more special since he's the creator of the series.

Hopefully you're just as excited as we are to talk about this episode because this is your spoiler warning. From this point on, there will be spoilers from the Bob's Burgers episode, "Hope N' Mic Night."

Here's what you missed on "Hope N' Mic Night."

The episode begins with Mr. Frond sharing that the school's talented show was canceled and the Belchers kids were so upset. While walking home with the Pesto kids, Louise suggests they have an open mic night at their restaurant since Bob will say no. Mort ends up convincing Bob due to him saying he went once on a Wednesday and it was successful.

While Bob is researching the mic situation, he finds out it's too expensive and has to cancel. Before he can, the kids are handing out flyers and they get Mr. Fischoeder interested. Marshmallow even pops in with her interest, forcing Bob to host the open mic night. The kids are songwriting in the living room and they all read Tina's journal to find inspiration.

It gets worse as Tina finds out the kids are passing out the song, aka her diary, and Mr. Fischoeder does an entire setup. Jimmy Pesto even pops over to say he would possibly call the police due to the restaurant being over maximum occupancy. The Open Mic Night starts off chaotically with Ollie and Andy Pesto, Mike the Mailman, Trev, Mort & Teddy and eventually, Mr. Fischoeder and his date push their way in. The fire marshal shows up and sees that the restaurant is over capacity, so he wants to shut it down.

Before Marty can shut it down, Marshmallow shows up and puts him in his place. The show ends up being incredible from that point on, including Louise getting cash from the people attending, Tina singing her song about Jimmy Junior with her siblings, and Linda even joins in on the fun.

Was "Hope N' Mic Night" a musical masterpiece from Bob's Burgers?

As mentioned, music is a huge part of Bob's Burgers and this episode truly embodied that in the best way. From the kids wearing down Bob to getting cash for the restaurant, there was so much to enjoy about this episode. It was also nice to see Tina put her foot down even though she was overruled in the end. Even so, she still ended up having fun which is all that mattered.

Additionally, this episode had a plethora of appearances by some of our favorite side characters, including Mike the Mailman, Mort, and Marshmallow. Honestly, I feel like a lot of us have been waiting for Marshmallow to pop up and her appearance did not disappoint. Plus Jari Jones was a great choice to voice her, and I'm here for that.

All in all, this episode was a lot of fun, and the songs were so catchy. Most of the time I have a complaint about an episode, but this time, that wasn't the case. "Hope N' Mic Night" was so great that I can't wait to rewatch it.

Bob's Burgers airs on Sundays on Fox at 9/8c.
