Get a first look at Hulu's Family Guy Christmas special
Hulu will release its second Family Guy holiday special, and we have the latest scoop on when to watch and what it'll be about. So get ready for some Christmas cheer this season with Peter Griffin and the rest of his merry family. It'll be 'freakin' sweet,' as Peter would say.
The Christmas special is part of Family Guy's 25th anniversary, after its Halloween special, "Peter, Peter Pumpkin Cheater," which aired exclusively on Hulu earlier this month. We won't carve open the pumpkin with spoilers, but you're more than welcome to check out our review. As a tiny spoiler, Brian and Stewie have a rather "killer" adventure on the spooky holiday, which outranked season 9's "Halloween On Spooner Street."
Here's what to know about the Family Guy Christmas special on Hulu
When it comes to creating Christmas episodes for fans, no one does it better than The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob's Burgers. These shows are family-orientated-esque, but they still provide the raw humor and material for which the shows are well-known.
This year's Christmas installment of Family Guy will be available on Hulu instead of Fox, making it the fourth episode not to air on the network. The previous three were season 3's "When You Wish Upon A Weinstein," season 8's "Partial Terms of Endearment," and this year's Halloween episode.
Variety was the first outlet to report the upcoming special. In their report, they revealed the title, the date, the synopsis, and the first image. It felt like unwrapping an early present after absorption, and that's the overall point.
The episode is titled "Gift of the White Guy" and will air three days before Thanksgiving on November 25th. It's not unusual, seeing how the media and retail empires want to push the holidays for financial stability and consumer hype. Many of these scenarios were depicted in the first Family Guy Christmas episode, "A Very Special Family Guy Freakin' Christmas' from the third season.
The synopsis is as follows:
"Peter must recover Lois’ Christmas brooch after gifting it away in a White Elephant exchange. Stewie changes his attitude upon learning he’s on Santa’s ‘Naughty List.'"
When has Stewie ever been on the "Nice List?' From what I have seen, that boy has been bubbling up trouble. In later seasons, he exposes his softer side, and I think that's the side he wants people to see, although it doesn't erase his bad behavior and world domination efforts.
Lastly, we have the first still from"Gift of the White Guy." There's not much to go on regarding spoilers, but it's reminiscent of Family Guy's past Christmas episodes.

The one thing that will make this Christmas segment great, would be a song and dance routine. But that might be wishing for too much.
