Duff and Donuts recently launched a piece about the top five TV dads in animated TV, so now it's the moms' turn. Truthfully, women rule the roost when it comes to caring for the household, the kids, and financial necessities (sometimes), but they do it with heart because there's nothing they love more than their families.
We're giving these five TV moms some appreciation, as they're the ones who have to cope with shenanigans, hustles, and the snacks. But without them, all would be an epic failure.
5 of the best TV moms in animation who needs all the love-The Simpsons, Bluey, Family Guy, and more

Marge Simpson from The Simpsons
Marge does it all for the Simpson household. She cooks, cleans, ensure that her Homer's three kids have everything, and puts up with her husband's many flukes and schemes. However, Marge had her share of fun outside the home, including protesting against TV violence, advocating for the health of Springfield, and has an active social life.
She loves her family and looks forward to nighttime "snuggling" with her Homie.

Lois Griffin from Family Guy
Lois is a bit more explicit than Marge in her ways as a mom. Some say that she could be cold or selfish when she wants to do something. However, she does look after their welfare, and Peter, who's mostly up to trouble or slacks off.
In the times that Lois is spotlighted as a mother, she's empathetic and if one the kids is being hackled or bullied, she'll go after them like a mama bear. So, we love that about her.

Chilli Heeler from Bluey
Chilli works hard as a sniffer dog at the Sydney Airport, but off work, she plays hard with her two girls, Bluey and Bingo. Like her husband and the father of her pups, Chilli gets heavily involved with their games. She's almost perfect, but she does adult when she must, and sometimes it's shown in the episodes.
Yet, her children comes first.

Wilma Flintstone from The Flintstones
Wilma is the original mom of animated TV and she made it historical when The Flintstones premiered in 1960. She was the homemaker, career woman, and the ultimate wife and mother to Fred and Pebbles. There was nothing Wilma couldn't do and when things got hectic with Fred, she stood up to him. Additionally, Wilma is the inspiration behind the animated TV moms today, and the Honeymooners' Alice Kramden, inspired her character.

Linda Belcher from Bob's Burgers
With her husband, Bob, Linda helps manage the family restaurant. While it's not a top-tier 5-star eatery, she's happy with it. Outside of her job, Linda loves spending time with her kids and tries to be as active in their lives as possible. She can be overbearing and worried at times, but that is a mother's nature- and an important one at that.
Linda holds Bob together too and it's sweet to see!
