After what felt like a lifetime of The Simpsons' being on hiatus, the comedy is finally returning to Fox on March 30th, leading the Animation Domination parade. The Simpsons will continue season 36 with episode 12, "The Flandshees of Innersimpson." And by giddily, it's going to be Flanders-themed!
Because everyone loves Ned Flanders.
However, Disney+ didn't want to leave fans dry without any new content during the break, so what did they do? The streamer premiered its second exclusive The Simpsons episode, "The Past and the Furious," in February. Lisa and Mr. Burns go back to the 1920s to find out why Springfield hasn't any had any vegetation. I'm not going to give you the whole story, but it involves moose, jazz, and environmental themes.

As mentioned, "The Flandshees of Innersimpson" will feature Ned Flanders and his "friendemy" status with Homer. Being a Christian, Flanders has been very tolerant of Homer's antics and brutish behavior, especially toward him. Yet, there's only so much a man can take before he reaches a breaking point.
Elsewhere, Bart tries his hands at DJ'ing, and his skills are spinning into stardom. Let it be known that Bart is intelligent, but being diagnosed with ADHD, his brain has a different way of connecting things and channeling them in a traditional sense. Having the 10-year-experiment with his interests is common among those with ADHD, but oftentimes, they're abandoned or unpursued.
I'd like to see Bart stick with a trait he's proud of and not be enveloped in Lisa's shadow for once. He has so much potential, and it's a shame that it's not valued. His parents' constant doubt doesn't help matters either, and it'd be cool to have Homer and Marge extend a supportive degree as they do with Lisa.
