When it comes to watching things for free, there aren't many options. However, one that's often forgotten is Tubi. Owned by Fox, the platform has so many great shows including tons of adult animated options.

Whether you want to revisit a favorite of the past or try out something new, there are plenty of both shows and movies to choose from. For the sake of this post, we're just going to be focusing on the adult animated shows.

The good news is that you don't need to register for Tubi to start watching. While registering does make things easier, you can simply pull it up on your TV or phone and start watching. No matter what you decide, I'm a huge fan of Tubi and have watched plenty of shows and movies on there.

Even if you're not in the market to watch any of these adult animated shows, you're sure to find something else to pique your interest. Either way, Tubi has so many great shows and movies that it's worth exploring especially if you're looking for something to watch over a weekend.

Tubi has some great animated shows including these 4.

Starting the list is one that Fox recently canceled. Honestly, it does make sense that Fox would add Housebroken to Tubi after canceling it. This show follows a group of pets who live in Los Angeles and have a therapy group together. This is a show I only caught a few episodes of but it's one I'm surprised got the axe from Fox. Thankfully, you can now watch its two seasons on Tubi and enjoy the talents of Lisa Kudrow, Clea DuVall, Tony Hale, and Will Forte to name a few.

Next up is a long-forgotten show I used to love, watching on Adult Swim and that's The Oblongs. This is another show that only ran for two seasons. However, the series follows a family who are truly misfits due to the overconsumption of the rich. While it can be absurd at times, the series does shine a light on topics others might avoid. It's worth mentioning that this show premiered in 2001 before being canceled and returning on Adult Swim.

The cool thing about The Oblongs is its voice cast. The main family was voiced by a group of downright talented actors. Bob Oblong is voiced by Will Ferrell while his wife, Marie is voiced by Jean Smart. Their three kids are voiced by Randy and Jason Sklar, Pamela Aldon, and Jeannie Elias. It is truly one of those shows you have to see to believe.

At the #3 spot is none other than The Critic. This is a series following Jay who is a New York film critic and he is truly a critic of everything he watches. In the few episodes I've watched, this feels like a parody of a parody in the best way. The show pokes fun at movies while also showing love for them which isn't easy to do. Plus Jon Lovitz voices Jay, making his delivery all the more enjoyable. If you haven't watched this animated series from the '90s, you're in for a real treat.

Last but not least, this is not technically an adult animated show, but one that I know many adult animated fans would either want to rewatch or catch a few episodes of. The last show making the list is What's New, Scooby-Doo? Released in 2002, the series features the classic Scooby-Doo voice actors we know and love including Frank Welker, Mindy Cohn, Casey Kasem, and Grey DeLisle.

This is just a peek into some of the adult animated shows Tubi has on its platform. There are plenty of other shows and movies if you're looking for some fun yet free shows. If anything, you might end up discovering a new favorite.
