When it comes to spinoffs, loads of animated shows have produced them. One of the most popular are the various ones stemming from The Simpsons along with Family Guy, Beavis and Butthead and Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.

That's why it's a valid question to think about if Bob's Burgers would ever produce a spinoff. With 15 seasons under its belt, it's something to consider. While Bob's Burgers is a solid show, it's unlikely it'll go on forever, and there are so many lingering questions when we don't know how or when a series will be wrapping up.

While a spinoff wouldn't continue the same story featured in Bob's Burgers, it would still be a legacy the show left behind. Looking at the series as a whole, there are a few different avenues Fox could go down when looking at a spinoff. The show could decide to focus on a side character in the same vein as The Cleveland Show. Some options could include Mort, the Pesto Family, or Marshmallow, among others.

Another option would be to focus on one of the members of the Belcher family, but instead, do a time-jump or focus on an entirely different storyline. If focusing on Louise, there could be a spinoff in which Louise goes to camp, or Gene ends up becoming a musical prodigy, or Tina becomes a bestselling romance author. There are truly so many ideas to float around when it comes to these characters and the series as a whole.

Would Fox ever greenlight a Bob's Burgers spinoff series?

While we can talk ideas all day, there is one thing worth considering, and it's if Fox would even consider giving us a Bob's Burgers spinoff series. Since we have no insider knowledge, this will just be what we can see from the outside. However, it doesn't seem likely we'll ever get a Bob's Burgers spinoff series.

The major reason for saying no is that Fox already has so many animated series under its belt. There are the major players like The Simpsons and Family Guy. Then there are some newer series including Krapopolis and The Great North. The most recent additions to Fox's lineup are Grimsburg and Universal Basic Guys. At this point, it doesn't seem like Fox is planning for more when it isn't even currently airing episodes of Bob's Burgers.

As with most network decisions, it's truly going to come down to what will make money and if it makes sense for the company financially. Considering that there was a Bob's Burgers Movie, it doesn't seem likely we'll get a spinoff series. However, maybe Loren Bouchard and his team have an excellent idea worth exploring. Until then, it feels like Bob's story is just starting, and that's enough for us.
