Family Guyis new on March 2nd with the season 23 episode, "Drunk With Power." Peter is the star focus, and an unlikely government member is too- Brett Kavanaugh. The second Bush-era appointed Supreme Court Justice will get to walk a mile in Peter's shoes while Peter becomes him. It's another Peter shenanigan, and I wonder what trouble he'll get into this time since all of his flukes cause grievances.
Peter's last shenanigan was in the February 23rd episode, "Live, Laugh, Love," which had him acting like a Spider-Man Tom Cruise. He broke into Joe's house as he so wanted to make him laugh, as his friend didn't find him funny in their group chat. In the end, despite his injuries, Peter did elicit a "haha" from Joe.
As Peter and the politicians, something terrible always happens when they meet. I'm not going to get into his fight with Trump or his late-night adventure with President Clinton since the characters never mentioned those storylines again, but they stuck.
I'm not expecting for "Drunk With Power"'s to be a remembrance years down the road from the characters, but I do want it to be funny and filled with classic I'm not expecting "Drunk With Power" to be a remembrance years down the road from the characters, but I do want it to be funny and filled with classicFamily Guymaterial, such as cutaway gags.

PreviewingFamily Guyseason 23 "Drunk With Power"
"Drunk With Power" will have Peter lookingthrough his perspectiveas a high-ranking political position as he's in the body of Kavanaugh. This narrative is bound to give slip-ups (and it should), and it'll be a miracle if none of the other Supreme Court members don't notice the difference.
Fox additionally release a paragraph-long synopsis and the promotional stills for "Drunk With Power."
The synopsis
""Peter runs into Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at a brewery tour, and the two become best friends, drinking the night into oblivion together. When Peter wakes up, he realizes their lives have swapped, and he joins the Supreme Court as Brett Kavanaugh, and Brett returns to Quahog as Peter. As Peter assimilates his way into the Supreme Court, he is forced to make a ruling on the constitutionality of gay marriage. Meanwhile, Brett tries to befriend Quagmire, Cleveland, and Joe.""

And that's not all.theFamily Guyshowrunner spoke withTVLine earlier this monthabout creating "Drunk With Power" and how the episode aligns with the show's universe.
"Kavanaugh romanticizes Peter’s life as just a working stiff who gets to go to a bar all the time, so they swap places, and we take Peter to the Supreme Court. That’s a bit of a swing for us. This show doesn’t typically do very topical stuff. We’re not a late-night monologue because it takes us more than a year to make an episode, and it wouldn’t be fresh. We’d be the 10th person to make the joke."
