The March 2nd episode of Family Guy, "Drunk With Power," had Peter Griffin in another political ploy, and in total comedic essence, he flubs up his responsibility. On the flip side of the penny, JSC Brett Kavanaugh enjoys the simplicity of Quahog as he takes Peter's place and steals his friends. We get it. The American Government can be a pressurizing work environment, but there's no need to act like an abbornant.
"Drunk With Power" was a plus for Peter because of his job at the brewery, where he got a promotion. Yeah, I'm as shocked as you are with that notion. And ironically, that's how this whole thing between him and Kavanaugh began. It's not to say that it was horrible, but when you put a guy who knows very little to Zelch about how the US Supreme Court system operates, you're going to have failure. But hilarious failure
I like how the writers craft Peter and Kanavaugh's friendship with the bonding over beer. As the former pretty much does for all of his friends, but to include an Esther Williams-stylized clip from the 1952 swimming musical, Million Dollar Mermaid, is genius.
Both Peter and Kavanaugh are epic disasters in Family Guy season 23 episode 3 "Drunk With Power"

The plot of "Drunk With Power" involves the flipping of Peter and Kavanaugh's roles. Peter becomes Kavanaugh, and Kavanaugh becomes Peter. It's not Freaky Friday, but it works for some undetected reason that I can't quite place my finger on.
In the Supreme Court in D.C., Peter faces big-time responsibility and meets with the other members. They soon become the Supreme Friends when Peter joins (as Space Monkey), a parody of the Super Friends cartoon. Brian points out that being on the Court could serve him an advantage, and that's appealing gay marriage, benefitting several families.
Peter does get the Court to allow gay marriage after they realize he's not Kavanaugh when the actual JSC pops back in D.C. The two men get their lives flipped back, but Peter has one more assignment to accomplish: visiting the Lincoln Memorial.
Some more Shenanigans from Family Guy "Drunk With Power"

"Dunk With Power" was more satisfying than I initially thought it would be, aside from the political aspects. Here are a few more tidbits that stood out.
- The cutaway gag of the McDonald's Hamburgler had no point value, but it was sinister in humor.
- Quagmire admitting that he has a problem with his promiscuity is a step up. Will he play it into practice from this point? Not likely.
- The beach scene reminded me of season's 18's Peter & Lois' Wedding scene MTV's Spring Break segment.
