Is another chicken fight in the cards in Family Guy season 23 episode 5, “The Chicken or The Meg” which will air on March 16th? We’re positive that there is a significant chance that one may happen between Peter and the Giant Chicken, as the latter’s son is in a secret relationship with . . Meg.
There are three scenarios that that could occur in the narrative. The first being somewhat of a Romeo and Juliet storyline, or everyone finally gets along, or there’s yet another fight. And if there is another fight, we won’t be surprised, as it’s a staple in the animated comedy.
But when Meg dated in the past, Peter got into a protective dad mode, and as much has he harasses her, he’s still her dad. Deep down, Peter does love Meg; he just doesn’t like showing it in person. That’s pretty much everyone’s opinion of her, and she does deserve better, but for the sake of Family Guy’s crass and crude material, the belittlement of Meg is a permanent dynamic.
No matter what, Meg needs a little love and respect, even if it’s just temporary.
Meg meets the Chicken in the Family Guy season 23 episode 5 “The Chicken or The Meg” preview

Things are roasting between Meg and her new beau, the Chicken’s son and the dads are not going to be clucking over the relationship. Yet, despite the disapproval, the couple still see each other, as their happiness is the only thing that matters.
But maybe the relationship isn’t what it’s cracked up to be and Meg and Chicken, leading to a break-up. And things go back to the way they were at the ol’ Griffin house. It seems to be that way whenever a problem boils over.
