For those missing Family Guy on Adult Swim, well, I've got some "freakin' sweet' news for you. The beloved and long-running Seth MacFarlane animated comedy will be heading back to the network in 2025. Consider it a New Year's celebration, if you will.
2024 was a big year forFamily Guy, as it was its 25th anniversary. As part of the celebratory package, two holiday specials rolled out exclusively on Hulu,a soundtrack was released, and Hulu gifted me with wrapping paper featuring the Griffin family to wrap my presents in. So, it was nice to be part of the show's epic milestone.
As the show became a Disney property in 2019, all 22 seasons have been moved to be streamed on Hulu, with the live premieres still airing on Fox, withreruns on Comedy Centraland FXX. WithFamily Guybecoming a part of Adult Swim, it won't concern its current networks and Hulu; it's just adding another network.
In a press release Duff and Donuts attained Adult Swim's president, Michael Ouweleen is thriled about the fan-favorite series returning.

Family Guyis heading to New Year's Day 2025 on Adult Swim
Beginning January 1st, 2025 or New Year's Day, Family Guy will be making its return on Adult Swim. Back-to-back and library episodes will begin airing at 7 PM EST/PST or 6 PM CST and will run until 5 AM EST/PST or 4 AM CST as a three-day marathon. Then, beginning January 4th, episodes will air at 10 EST/PST or 9 PM CST.
However, FXX also airs itsFamily Guyepisodes at 7 PM EST/6 PM CST, so you're going to have some collision on January 2nd with both networks. As part of FXX's New Year's celebration,The Simpsonswill air an 18-hour block.
In 2003, Adult Swim began itsFamily Guylegacy and saved it from cancelation. If that had to happen, then we would be living in aFamily Guyfree world, and frankly, I can't imagine it. Besides, Stewie has grown since then, eliminating his evil world domination schemes to time travel adventures.
With evil spots of course.
