It feels like every single post is talking about the hiatus when it comes to Bob's Burgers. It's so disappointing to see Fox shelf Bob's Burgers for now because it's such a beloved show but it's just the way the TV landscape works.
Since Bob's won't be airing for a while though, it doesn't mean we shouldn't get any new Bob's Burgers content. If anything, this feels like the perfect way for Bob's Burgers to show some love to an animated series for kids: Bluey.
No matter if you have little ones at home or just love to unwind with a few episodes of Bluey, the series is truly such a great watch. If you haven't watched Bluey yet, no worries as it's currently streaming on Disney+. With a Bluey movie on the way and so much more coming, the show is giving us Bluey Minisodes.
With Bob's Burgers being off the air, it feels like the team should take a page from Bluey's book and give us some Bob's Burgers minisodes until the show comes back.
Let's see Bob's Burgers take some inspiration from Bluey.
If you've watched any of the Bluey minisodes, you know just how fun they are, and Bob's Burgers could bring the same energy. There could even be something for each character, so let's start with Bob, who could do a tutorial about cooking his burgers or coming up with the names of the Burger of the Day, which is a huge part of the series.
Linda could give recommendations about wine or tell us why Cynthia Erivo deserves an Oscar for her performance in Wicked. Tina could give us love advice, no matter how good or bad it is. As for Gene, why not give us a song or two? Lastly, Louise is a wild card, so we might see some advice, a daring stunt, or just a way for her to share an unjustified yet unpopular opinion with all of us.
Whether the show decided to focus on single characters or just give us a look at what the family is doing on a given day, it would be a fun addition. Honestly, it's frustrating to see a complete lack of love from Fox for Bob's Burgers. Hopefully, we'll get some more concrete answers about what's going on soon. Until then, let's hope Fox brings back Bob's Burgers sooner rather than later.
