When Bob's Burgers first aired, none of us knew just how popular it would become. Hand-in-hand with that observation, none of us knew how beloved the show's holiday episodes would be.

Holidays are already a stressful time for many but Bob's Burgers gives holidays that air of lightness we all need sometimes. Honestly, going back and rewatching some of the show's holiday episodes are some of my favorite holiday moments.

After the show's Christmas episodes, it's nice to have one more to look forward to and thus the Bob's Burgers Valentine's Day episodes were born. Given that Valentine's Day is such a polarizing holiday, the episodes also fall into a mixed bag.

Whether you're someone who loves the holiday or just needs an excuse to watch Bob's Burgers, then you're in luck as we're talking about and ranking all of the show's Valentine's Day episodes.

Let's rank all of the Bob's Burgers Valentine's Day episodes.

Looking back, there are 8 different Bob's Burgers episodes to talk about. Oddly enough, not every single season of Bob's has a Valentine's Day so if it seems like we're jumping around a lot, that's the reason why. Let's feel the love and talk about some great Valentine's Day episodes.

8. "Ferry on the Wayward Bob and Linda"

Coming in at the bottom spot is season 12's "Ferry on the Wayward Bob and Linda." While this episode seems romantic at first, things quickly go off the rails. After a fun interaction with a chef, Bob and Linda get invited to try out a restaurant on King's Head Island but nothing seems to go right for the two. This leads to Bob questioning everyting and it's a pretty weird moment for his character.

The B-plot focuses on the kids having Jen babysit them but she ends up bringing someone over and it's a surprisingly fun addition. Overall though, Bob's actions in the episode don't just give that Valentine's Day spirit you might be looking for.

7. "Bed, Bob & Beyond"

Next up is the Valentine's Day episode from season 9. This episode follows the kids as they're tagging along with Bob and Linda for Valentine's Day. In the episode, we find out that Bob and Linda have been fighting all day and the kids want to try to make it better before admitting that they jumped on Gene's bed and broke it. After the movie gets cut short, the kids each tell their own versions as a way to make Bob and Linda feel better.

Once again, this one isn't nearly as lovey-dovey as the other episodes and it just feels a little bit disjointed. Maybe it's the fact that none of the kids' stories line up but it's an interesting one for sure.

6. "Can't Buy Me Math"

Coming in at the #6 spot is none other than season 5's "Can't Buy Me Math." This episode follows Tina who needs some tutoring so she decides to enlist Darryl. Darryl wants to get noticed by his crush and Tina needs help so the two agree to fake date. As you might imagine, things get confusing for our poor Tina. Bob and Linda also end up spending Valentine's Day together and Bob ends up having an extra surprise up his sleeve for her. Ultimately, this episode is fun and cute but not all that memorable.

5. "The Gene and Courtney Show"

Next is season 6's "The Gene and Courtney Show," which focuses on the most unlikely of couples aka Gene Belcher and Courtney Wheeler. While the two dated in the past, it doesn't seem like anything is there until the two start making announcements together. As you might imagine, things don't work out and the same goes for Tina and Bob. No matter how you feel about this pairing, it's a pretty solid episode.

4. "Romancing the Beef"

Next up is season 11's "Romancing the Beef." This episode has a surprising organizer at its heart and that's Louise. She decides to convince Bob and Linda to open up on Valentine's Day as a way to con suckers on Valentine's Day and it ends up working. The restaurant is hopping but as you might imagine, Hugo ends up coming in to ruin their plans. Tina even gets in on the fun as she gets invited to Tammy's Anti-Valentine's Day party. While season 11 is questionable, "Romancing the Beef" is one of those episodes that hits the spot between being fun and surprisingly romantic.

3. "Bob Actually"

The #3 spot goes to season 7's Valentine's Day offering: "Bob Actually." This episode is obviously a play on Love Actually and this time, we're following each of the Belcher family members, celebrating Valentine's Day in their own way. There are a few storylines to cover here but the best of the bunch is easily Bob and Linda's as Bob is working on a special Valentine's Day gift for Linda that none of us could imagine. While not the best of the bunch, this is an incredibly fun one to watch ahead of Valentine's Day.

2. "My Fuzzy Valentine"

The runner-up for best Valentine's Day episode is season 3's "My Fuzzy Valentine." No matter what you're looking for, "My Fuzzy Valentine" has it all. There is speed dating, a fun driving song, Bob dealing with a Valentine's Day mixup and Linda possibly going to jail. While it might seem odd, this episode is so much fun and the perfect thing to watch if you're craving some classic Bob's Burgers this Valentine's Day.

1. "V for Valentine-detta"

The best Valentine's Day episode of Bob's Burgers is easily season 8's "V for Valentine-detta." This episode focuses on Bob and Linda switching things up. The two planned couples activities to do together but Bob decides to go with Gene and Linda ends up taking Louise and Tina along. This is the first time we meet Nat who comes back for even more fun adventures later. The episode has the ultimate Bob's Burgers charm and gives us plenty of hilarious and surprisingly sweet moments with these underrated pairings.

All of the Valentine's Day episodes of Bob's Burgers are currently streaming on Hulu.
