Going back and looking at when Bob's Burgers episodes have aired is fun. The one thing I never thought about was just how many amazing episodes have aired in April. Maybe the show just hits its stride in April, but there are so many good episodes.
With that being said, this is going to be a short intro, as there are plenty of amazing episodes to discuss. While season 1 aired one episode in April, it wasn't the best, so moving ahead to season 2, this is where it starts getting difficult. Season 2's April episodes were "Burgerboss," "Food Truckin'," and "Dr. Yap." Frankly, all of these episodes are unhinged, making them the perfect way to start off the series.
On to season 3, the show gave us 3 great episodes in April back-to-back, which are "Family Fracas," "The Kids Run the Restaurant," and "Boyz 4 Now." The fun continues in season 4 with 4 episodes airing in April, with the two best being "The Equestranauts" and "The Kids Run Away." As you can see, this list is already stacked full of incredible episodes, and we're only on season 4.
Season 5 is where things start to slow down as the show only aired one episode in April, which was "Itty Bitty Ditty Committee." This episode is all about Gene and his dealing with some rejection when it comes to the band he formed. Season 6 gave us 5 different episodes in April, with the best of the bunch being "The Hormone-iums," and "Stand by Gene."
April showers bring us great episodes of Bob's Burgers.

Looking at season 7, there were 4 April episodes, with the standouts being "Eggs for Days" and "Thelma & Louise Except Thelma is Linda." Season 8 is another jampacked season of April episodes, including Bob's birthday episode, "Are You There Bob? It's Me Birthday," and "The Hurt Soccer," one of Louise's best episodes. Season 9 only had 2 episodes air in April and "The Gene Mile" takes the cake in this round.
Season 10 is where things slow down, as the two episodes weren't the best. While these are episodes I enjoyed while watching that season, we're skipping these two. Season 11 continues that trend as they're good watches but not anything worth mentioning. In season 12, we got "Clear and Present Ginger," in which we learn more about Linda's friend, Ginger, whom we still have yet to meet.
Season 13's standout episode had to be "Radio No You Didn't," which gave us some interesting history about Bob's grandmother. Season 14 didn't air an episode in April, and neither did Season 15, so those are all the episodes, which is where the hardest part comes in.
While this might be a cop-out answer, there are two incredibly strong episodes in this list, and there was no way I wasn't including one without the other. First is "Boyz 4 Now." Not only is this an excellent Louise episode, but it introduced us to the Boyz 4 Now, who are one of the best fictional boy bands out there. Then there is "The Equestranauts," which is truly one of the best-written and funniest episodes of Bob's Burgers out there.
As you can see, April was a solid month for Bob's Burgers, and it's sad we haven't seen the trend continue in the past two seasons. Hopefully, that trend will be bucked with the show being picked up for 4 more seasons.
