Why the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade needs to include Bob's Burgers

Thanksgiving is a huge deal on Bob's Burgers so why not bring it to the Macy's Day Parade?

If there's one thing you can count on from Bob's Burgers, it's Bob's love for Thanksgiving. It's such a huge part of the series and part of why the show's holiday episodes are so popular.

Another popular Thanksgiving tradition is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Airing every Thanksgiving morning, it's filled with balloons, performances and floats unlike anything we've seen before. With both brands having such a love for Thanksgiving, why not bring them together?

While Bob's Burgers has been around for over a decade, there have never been talks or even, an inkling of the Belchers being a part of the parade. Regardless, the tides are changing when it comes to Bob's Burgers and it feels like the show is leaning into the more wholesome side of things.

Due to that, it feels like bringing the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Bob's Burgers together is a no-brainer. It might take a lot of planning, but we have until 2025 to make it happen or even later.

Could Bob's Burgers be a part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?

As mentioned, this is just an idea, but one I could see happening in the future. Let's begin with the most obvious pick and that's a balloon. Whether the show wanted to go with something classic like Bob or Louise, the series could also use Kuchi Kopi. He might not be as recognizable of a character but he's going to get people talking. Additionally, the burgers featured in Bob's Burgers is such a recognizable art style which wouldn't be as flashy but still a solid pick.

Another option would be to have a Bob's Burgers float. The float could be designed like the restaurant and feature the actors from the show. While they might not dress like their characters, it would be something fun to pay homage to the series. If anything, Fox could save a little bit of money and put its entire Animation Domination lineup on the float so all the series could get a piece of the pie.

Ultimately, the decision is going to come down to Fox and frankly, I don't see it happening. Bob's Burgers doesn't get nearly as much promo as it should. However, if it came down to it, Fox might try to pull some strings to have Bob's Burgers make a Macy's Thanksgiving Day appearance. Until then, we have plenty of Thanksgiving episodes to watch.
