Will Bob's Burgers ever produce another St. Patrick's Day episode?

St. Patrick's Day has only happened once on Bob's Burgers.
BOB'S BURGERS: Bob and the kids help a down-on-his-luck restaurant owner, while Linda and Teddy get carried away with St. Patrick's Day festivities in the "Flat-Top O' the Morning to Ya" episode of BOB’S BURGERS airing Sunday, March 15 (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Holiday episodes are a key-part of any long-running TV show, and Bob's Burgers is no exception. The series has celebrated countless holidays during its 15 seasons and no doubt will do it again as the show continues.

The one odd thing is that certain holidays don't get nearly as much love as they should. We can all acknowledge that some holidays are more important than others. Even so, it feels weird to have Bob's Burgers producing only one holiday episode for a particular holiday.

While St. Patrick's Day doesn't hold that title alone, we're here to break down the possibility of the Belchers celebrating again. We've previously talked about the episode in another post which can be read here. Basically, the episode follows Linda and Teddy serving green items to customers while Bob and the kids try to get a new flat-top.

As an episode, it was good, but overall, it was not exactly a memorable holiday episode. That's why we're hoping the show will decide to give it the old college try and make us feel even luckier by producing another St. Patty's Day episode.

Time for Bob's Burgers to serve up another St. Patrick's Day ep.

In the rundown of the plot above, it's clear that no one was particularly lucky, but I think it would be fun to see that idea flipped on its head. Rather than Bob having bad luck, he's had a full day or even a full week of good luck. He's going to be so paranoid and wondering when the other shoe is going to drop, which, of course, could happen on St. Patrick's Day.

Bob is such an easy character to add into storylines, but that's not the only avenue the show could decide to take. It could be a family affair in which Wonder Wharf hosts a St. Patrick's Day event and the Belchers run a food truck or end up having to cater an event. Seeing the food truck come back would a major throwback and something I've been hoping for since its last appearance. While the food truck did blow up in that episode, it's something worth considering in the future.

Looking at how far the show has come, it does feel like we'll eventually get another St. Patrick's Day episode, although it might be a few seasons down the road. Until then, we still have one to look back on, and that's more than some shows get. Either way, there are plenty of great Bob's Burgers episodes to enjoy, no matter what holiday or season we're in.
