The Simpsons will be battling the bases once again in season 36 episode 15, titled "Abe League Of Their Moe," airing on Sunday, April 27th! In the baseball-themed piece, team tensions arise, but not between the actual players; instead, they are between managers. But what are you going to do? It's the spirit of the game.
Yet, the situation might not be in the best interest for Bart, as it's his grampa and Homer's drinking buddy, Moe. Anything that comes across this spritely 10-year-old will be used as ammo in his case, and often results in a prank. Look at poor Homer, for example. Bart used his Boy Scout trapping expertise to trap his dad in various ways.
"Abe League Of Their Moe" could be another great episode of Bart and Abe enforcing their strong bond, and since the former admires his grandfather so much, he doesn't give him much trouble. I think the most that Bart has pulled on ol' Abe was during babysitting sessions and using his name to produce an Itchy and Scratchy episode.
Moe has a meltdown in The Simpsons season 36 episode 15
We had Burns manage his company's softball team, we had Homer at the bat, and now, we have Moe managing the Springfield Isotopes. I just figured he serve the beer at the games, let along have any hearsay on games' intricacies, but who am I to hypothesize? There's a first for everything.
Moe won't be the only manager, as Abe will also be involved in management. His cantankerous attitude might get the best of him and ruin everything. If not ruin, then at least take the fun out of the sport. Abe tends to do that, though, much to people's annoyance.
As for the rest of the Simpson family, their storylines remain under the radar, but they'll be in "Abe League Of Their Own," most likely attending the Isotopes games or watching them on TV. Or Homer could just be hanging out at Moe's while the bartender isn't there.
