Quagmire is taken in Family Guy season 23 episode 8 preview: "The Elle Word"

After many years as a bachelor, Glen Quagmire may have found the One inFamily Guyseason 23 episode 8, "The Elle Word," airing tonight. It comes as asurprising shock to his friends, as they all witnessed Quagmire have one quick relationship to the next. As such, you know some shenanigan is about to surface from it.

If we could forget Quagmire's brief marriage stint in season 5 and his constant chase of Lois, he considers himself a ladies' man with a heavy procreative appetite. He's the type of guy you should protect your daughters from, as he's only after one thing. But maybe Quagmire's behavior is just his way (though not right) of finding his soul mate, and it's about to work in his favor in "The Elle Word."

Or, like the women he was with before, Quagmire's new relationship might be only short-lived, and he's back to his old ways. After all. a majority ofFamily Guy's jokes are dedicated to his promiscuous behavior. It'll lose its spark if the writers decide to retire them.

Brian becomes dominant inFamily Guyseason 23 episode 8 "The Elle Word"

The second storyline of "The Elle Word" will gravitate toBrian and Stewie. Brian has some trouble with the tot and takes some unorthodox measures to steer him back in line. This narrative sounds familiar, as it echoes season 8's "Road to the Multiverse," where Brian becomes the dominant one in an alternate universe where dogs reign over humans.

Will tonight's episode reference "Road to the Multiverse"? It'll be sweet if it did, since it will be calling back toFamily Guyhistory.

Wait a minute. Is Elle the Librarian Quagmire's new girlfriend? If so, their dynamic will be interesting, as she hasn't dated much, and I'd never thought it'd be her. Maybe there's something in her that Quagmire's attracted to, and we overlooked it.
