While most people focus on the Belcher family, some tend to forget that at the heart of the show is Bob's Burgers. We're talking about the restaurant here and for the most part, the restaurant hasn't changed much.

Since the show's release in 2011, Bob's Burgers hasn't gotten a paint job, a makeover or even, any slight improvements that weren't taken away or caused something terrible to happen. In a way, it's nice to see that one piece staying the same all these years later.

That's why it would be so cool to see the show bringing back the food truck. The first and last time we saw the Bob's Burgers food truck was in season 2, episode 5. Entitled "Food Truckin'," this episode truly feels like a fever dream in the best way.

Not only do the Belchers head to a festival, but it ends up becoming utter chaos. The sad thing is that the food truck ends up being destroyed at the end of the episode. Despite that, it would be amazing to see Bob's Burgers give us a new food truck storyline.

A food truck storyline could help spice up Bob's Burgers in a big way.

If there's one thing the Bob's Burgers Movie proved to us, it's that the show can handle a longer and more involved plotline. That's why I think it would be cool to either feature a food truck storyline for a few episodes or even, make it a longer, full-season idea. While that might take some convincing on the part of the network and writers, it's such a fun idea.

Given that Bob's Burgers hasn't aired an episode in 2025, this feels like something the show could explore. Since the show hasn't returned, it's obvious the series will likely air into summer. If that trend continues into season 16, then why not find a way to incorporate the seasons into it? The show already does holiday episodes so having a summer-themed storyline with a food truck sounds exciting.

The reason for leaving Bob's Burgers for the summer could be simple. Mr. Fischoeder is finally doing some renovations and needs the family to vacate for a few months. Teddy finds an old food truck and there you go. The family is able to make an income without worrying about rent and Bob is still able to flex his creative culinary muscles. While that's one idea, the writers of Bob's Burgers could probably come up with something much better.

Regardless, this extended Bob's Burgers hiatus has us thinking of what could be. Hopefully, the show returns and eventually so does the food truck. Until then though, it's all just wishful thinking.
