If you're craving a fictional burger at Bob's Burgers, you're in luck! FOX has renewed this delightful animated comedy featuring Bob Belcher and his family. Along with the kids-Tina, Gene, and Louise- they run the restaurant in New Jersey. Many situations occur outside the restaurant, but the Belchers always head back to the restaurant.
The renewal is what FOX is calling their "Epic Meganimation Deal," as four of their animated series have been picked up for more seasons. Along with Bob's Burgers, The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad! were all met with renewals. It's historic, as this is the first time Disney and 20th Television Animation ejected a release. Not only that, the renewal will extend several years, and for fans, we'll be witnessing lots more family time with groundbreaking content.
According to the Nielsen Charts, Bob's Burgers was among the Top 10 Most Streamed Shows on Hulu in 2024, establishing a watch time of 36.79 billion minutes. Bob's Burgers averages about 1.71 million viewers during its airtime on Animation Domination. Not bad for a guy who serves fast food as a living, but we love it all the same.
While season 15 is still on hiatus, be rest assured that season 16 is a guarantee. So, there's no need to worry about FOX pulling the plug on Bob's Burgers anytime soon.
FOX gave Bob's Burgers the same number of seasons as The Simpsons, Family Guy, and American Dad!
Like its FOX partnering shows, Bob's Burgers was gifted with four more seasons, through 19, to be specific. That said, all the shows will see 2028 at least and will probably even go beyond that. It'll be unbelievable, as their lifespans seem to be immortal. Not that's a bad thing because The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, and American Dad! bring together the masses and make life a little more enjoyable.
It's also monumental for American Dad! as it has been reclaimed by FOX after being on the Warner Bros.-owned network for eleven years. The comedy with the wisecracking alien will continue with season 20 and rejoin the Animation Domination family.
A FOX press release and acquired by Duff and Donuts states the following about the renewals:
